At Dubrovnik Airport Ltd., we are dedicated to environmental stewardship by continuously planning, implementing, verifying, and evaluating the effectiveness of our environmental protection activities, adhering to international standards and Croatian regulations. Our commitment is to minimize negative environmental impacts.

We actively promote the development and implementation of modern business processes and technologies that aim to reduce harmful environmental impacts while increasing the efficiency of energy, raw materials, and waste management for all participants in our business processes.

Every year, we report to the Environmental Protection Agency and the Ministry of Culture on our efforts related to air traffic and wildlife protection.

Since 2010, we have proudly held accreditation for monitoring and controlling CO2 emissions through the ACI Airport Carbon Accreditation program at level 1—Mapping. This accreditation underscores our goal of introducing a robust CO2 emissions management system.

Our pollution protection system effectively monitors wastewater, air, and hazardous and non-hazardous waste. This system is validated through internal and external independent audits and inspections, ensuring its reliability.

We invest significant efforts and resources into preserving the environment and maintaining the natural balance in and around the Airport.

During each investment activity, we carefully monitor the location's geographical characteristics, the area's flora and fauna, natural structures, and cultural monuments such as the Đurovića Cave beneath the ramp.
