We are proud to present Roger’s Corner, a specially designed children’s zone at Ruđer Bošković Airport. While waiting for their flight, our youngest passengers can now step into the world of the great Roger Bošković - assemble the Earth, illuminate the universe, or zoom around like an electron.

The rich and fascinating legacy of Roger Bošković served as inspiration for creating an authentic space with interactive features primarily intended for children (from ages 4 to 10), though we believe it will capture the interest of many other passengers as well. Roger’s Corner combines exploration and learning through play, becoming a small educational hub within the airport - a space that preserves heritage, sparks curiosity, and enhances the travel experience.

In collaboration with the product designer, five custom‑made toys were created specifically for this space, each inspired by one of the many fields explored by Roger Bošković - mathematics, geodesy, astronomy, and optics.

We invite you to visit this unique corner the next time you pass through the terminal, located on the second floor of the international departures area.

The design and development of the space, with every element originally conceived and crafted from the ground up, were carried out by Filburg, Proto Arch, and product designer Marin Kobeščak, giving the area a distinctive, contemporary, and functional visual approach. The new children’s corner has been created within a section of the Frequency store, as an extension of the Proto‑arch project completed in 2019, located on the second floor of the airport’s departures terminal.

The project was realized as part of the SITE programme, within the Interreg Italy - Croatia cross‑border cooperation initiative.
