Liquid restrictions in cabin baggage remain in effect at Dubrovnik Airport

Despite recent media reports about the removal of liquid restrictions in cabin baggage, we inform you that Ruđer Bošković airport continues to apply the existing security rules:
 
  • Only containers with liquids up to 100 ml are permitted.
  • All liquids must fit into one transparent plastic bag with a capacity of 1 litre per passenger. 
While some airports in the European Union equipped with EU-approved C3 security scanners have removed these restrictions, at most airports - including Dubrovnik Airport - these rules remain in effect.
 
The difference in rules between airports is due to two main reasons:
  1. the ongoing EU re-certification process for certain C3 scanners, required for their full implementation, and
  2. the fact that not all airports are equipped with CB EDS C3 technology.  
Passengers are therefore advised to check their airport’s current guidance before travelling.
Dubrovnik Airport will keep the public informed of any future changes.
