1. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Dubrovnik Airport collects and uses your personal data to maintain its website and provide you with the services you request (for example, air shipment services, handling complaints, contact information, web check-in process, etc.). Your personal data is also used to inform you about other products or services offered by Dubrovnik Airport. If you consent, Dubrovnik Airport may contact you occasionally via email to send news, updates, service information, and similar content.

We process your personal data in accordance with REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: General Regulation), in connection with Article 6 (a), (b), (c), and (f).

When you send us an email containing personal data that can identify you—whether through a question, comment, or a form on our website—we use that data to fulfill your request. In doing so, we process your data in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the General Regulation, based on your consent.

Dubrovnik Airport will not share your data with third parties without your permission. Dubrovnik Airport will not sell or rent user lists to third parties.

2. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA THROUGH VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
 
  • Purpose: Protection of individuals and property
  • Legal basis: Legitimate interest of Dubrovnik Airport as the data controller (Article 6(f) of the General Regulation)
  • Recipients: Video recordings may be provided to competent authorities (police, court) upon request, if necessary for proceedings under specific regulations
3. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA THROUGH TELEPHONE RECORDINGS
Dubrovnik Airport collects and processes your personal data during the recording of telephone conversations. Calls that are subject to recording begin with a voice message informing you that the conversation is being recorded. The data processing is based on the legitimate interest of the data controller, for the purpose of responding to user inquiries.

Dubrovnik Airport ensures that no unnecessary data is collected and that recorded conversations are regularly deleted once they are no longer needed. The personal data processed includes the following categories: name, surname, address, telephone number, email address, audio recordings of interactions with agents, and records of user responses.

4. USE OF COOKIES
The Dubrovnik Airport website uses cookies to tailor your internet experience to your needs. A cookie is a text file that a website server stores on your hard drive. Cookies are created when the user's browser loads a visited web destination, which then sends data to the browser and creates a text file (cookie). The browser retrieves and sends the cookie back to the website server when the user returns to the site.

Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are assigned individually and can only be read by the website server in the domain that created the file.

5. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS

You have the right to access your personal data that we process about you and may request detailed information, particularly regarding the purpose of processing, the type/categories of personal data being processed (including access to your personal data), the recipients or categories of recipients, and the expected period for which the personal data will be stored. Access to personal data may be restricted only in cases prescribed by Union law or our national legislation, or when such restriction respects the essence of the fundamental rights and freedoms of others.

In accordance with the above, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

6. HANDLING OF APPLICATION DOCUMENTATION SUBMITTED FOR EMPLOYMENT PURPOSES
Dubrovnik Airport Ltd., Dobrota 24, 20213 Čilipi, collects candidates’ personal data exclusively for the purpose of conducting the recruitment procedure for the specific job position, in accordance with Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation. Such data may be forwarded to contractual partners solely for the purpose of verifying the candidate’s knowledge and abilities.

Candidates have the right to request access, rectification or erasure of data, restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. Providing personal data to the company is necessary for the conclusion of an employment contract, and you are obliged to provide the requested data. Otherwise, Dubrovnik Airport cannot offer you an employment contract.

If a candidate believes that their rights have been violated through the processing of their data, they may file a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (Martićeva 14, Zagreb, www.azop.hr). For inquiries related to personal data processing, candidates may contact the Data Protection Officer at Dubrovnik Airport Ltd. (dataprotection@airport-dubrovnik.hr).

If a candidate is not selected for the position, their data will be retained until the completion of the recruitment process for which it was submitted. After this period, the application documentation will be returned to the candidate, or if submitted via email, it will be deleted. If the candidate wishes for their data to be retained beyond this period in Dubrovnik Airport’s candidate database for future staffing needs, they must submit explicit written consent to Dubrovnik Airport (Human Resources and Talent Management Department).

7. DAVANJE NA KORIŠTENJE OSOBNIH PODATAKA
U određenim okolnostima, imamo pravnu obvezu proslijediti Vaše osobne podatake, a obradom osobnih podataka može biti obuhvaćen i međunarodni prijenos istih. Pravna obveza može proizlaziti iz nacionalnih propisa ili iz propisa EU. Dakle, Vaši podaci proslijeđuju se drugim primateljima kad nas obvezuju relevantni propisi u opsegu koji je potreban za ostvarenje utvrđene svrhe.
Vaši osobni podaci neće se prosljeđivati trećim stranama u svrhe izravnog marketinga.


8. SIGURNOST VAŠIH OSOBNIH PODATAKA
Zračna luka Dubrovnik štiti Vaše osobne podatke od neovlaštenog pristupa, uporabe ili otkrivanja. Prikupljene osobne podatke čuvamo u elektroničkom obliku te primjenjujemo odgovarajuće tehničke, organizacijske i proceduralne mjere kako bismo spriječili da se osobnim podacima koji nisu dostupni ostalim korisnicima portala ne bi neovlašteno pristupalo te da bi osigurali da se koriste u skladu s našom Politikom i propisima koji se primjenjuju. Pri tome se služimo najboljim svjetskim praksama vezanim uz informacijsku sigurnost. Zračna luka Dubrovnik ponosni je nositelj certifikata ISO/IEC 27001:2022.
Svi zaposlenici Zračne luke koji imaju pristup osobnim podacima obvezuju se na čuvanje osobnih podataka potpisivanjem izjave o povjerljivosti.


9. VREMENSKO RAZDOBLJE ČUVANJA OSOBNIH PODATAKA
Vaše osobne podatke obrađujemo dok se ne ispuni svrha obrade osobnih podataka. Nakon prestanka svrhe u koju su prikupljeni, Vaše osobne podatke više ne koristimo, te isti ostaju u našem sustavu pohrane i čuvamo ih koliko nas obvezuju zakonski propisi o čuvanju arhivskog gradiva.


10. PROMJENE NAŠE POLITIKE PRIVATNOSTI
Politiku privatnosti redovito ažuriramo kako bi ista bila točna i ažurna te zadržavamo pravo promjene sadržaja iste ako smatramo da je to nužno. O svim izmjenama i dopunama biti ćete pravovremeno informirani putem naše internetske stranice.


11. PRAVO NA PRITUŽBU NADLEŽNOM TIJELU
U bilo kojem trenutku možete poslati pritužbu nadzornom tijelu u vezi našeg prikupljanja i obrade Vaših osobnih podataka.
